This year’s Welcome to the Fall event is planned to be even better than the 2 previous fall drives we have hosted. The drive we have planned will be a glorious combination of scenic roads with minimal stop signs, lights or towns to slow us down. Our goal is to put our creaky machines to the kinds of roads they were designed for.
We will start the day by meeting at the new Rosenstein hacienda in Pawling, 332 Quaker Hill Road at 10AM for coffee and….. We will have a relaxed hour discussing cars, and life in general. There will be; Coffee, tea and lots of goodies to keep you happy on the ride.
At 11:00 AM we will set out along a route that will provide about 60 minutes of fast paced English style country sided driving planned to get the cars and their inhabitants blood circulating. Jane and I have again spent several weekends scouting new side routes to create this drive.
We will stop for lunch at a great country style Inn near Millbrook set in peaceful fields and horse pastures.
There will be plenty of safe parking and photo opportunities.
After lunch all are welcomed back to our place on a spirited ride. Like our last event, this route will let you open up your steed and have some fun.
The hardy are welcome to stay for cigars and cognac or whatever your pleasure. There will be more than enough for all.
